The sun shines today also.
What’s in a name? In college I learned that people like things that come in threes. Hence, the name of this blog: truck dog girl — 1 2 3.
These are all the things I consider essential to me living my best life. And no, I’m not a nudist nor have I discovered how to not eat. I simply mean to highlight that all it takes to adventure, to discover, is a way to get somewhere (my truck), company to combat the loneliness (my dog), and of course myself (the girl).
Like everyone, I have a past. Maybe you will hear about it in some of my posts. However, no matter who I have been, I am not my past. I am my future.
This blog is about finding constants and building a new self on these firm foundations. For me, nature has always been an essential rock of my existence.
As Emerson wrote, “the sun shines today also.” Everyday, no matter human emotions or human cares, the sun rises and the sun sets. Nature continues uninterrupted. Relying on the continuity of nature guarantees the most constant existence I can think of.
